Paratelmatobius poecilogaster Giaretta and Castanho, 1990, Pap. Avulsos Zool., São Paulo, 37: 133. Holotype: MZUSP 65372, by original designation. Type locality: "Paranapiacaba (aproximadamente 23° 47′ S, 46° 18′ W, 850 m de altitude)", San André, state of São Paulo, Brazil.

English Names

San Andre Rapids Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 82).

Distribution

Known from the type locality (Paranapiacaba), as well as Boracéia and Salesópolis, Serra do Mar range, state of São Paulo, Brazil).
