Leptodactylus troglodytes Lutz, 1926, Mem. Oswaldo Cruz, Rio de Janeiro, 19: 149. Holotype: A. Lutz coll. unnumbered; presumably now in AL-MNRJ 816, by museum records (J. Pombal, Jr, personal commun.). Type locality: "Pernambuco", Brazil.
