Leptodactylus tapiti Sazima and Bokermann, 1978, Rev. Brasil. Biol., 38: 910. Holotype: WCAB 47622, by original designation; now MZUSP 73680, by museum records (W.R. Heyer, personal commun.).. Type locality: "Chapada dos Veadeiros, (1800 m), Alto Paraíso de Goiás, Goiás, Brasil".
