Hydrolaetare Gallardo, 1963, Neotropica, 9: 42. Type species: Limnomedusa schmidti Cochran and Goin, 1959, by original designation.

Hydrolaetere — Pyron and Wiens, 2011, Mol. Phylogenet. Evol., 61: 581. Incorrect subsequent spelling.

Distribution

Spotty distribution in Amazon basin from Madeira and Acre (Brazil) to Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, and French Guiana.
