Leptodactylus thomei Almeida and Angulo, 2006, Zootaxa, 1334: 4. Holotype: MBML 2521, by original designation. Type locality: "Povoação (19° 33′ S, 39° 46′ W), at sea level, approximately 30 km from the town of Linhares . . . . Povoação, state of Espírito Santo, Brazil".
