Eleutherodactylus izecksohni Caramaschi and Kisteumacher, 1989 "1988", Herpetologica, 44: 423. Holotype: MNRJ 4217, by original designation. Type locality: "Parque das Mangabeiras, City of Belo Horizonte (19° 55′ S and 43° 56′ W, approximately 850 m elevation), State of Minas Gerais, Brazil".

Distribution

The southern end of the Serra do Espinhaço and the Mantiqueira Range, State of Minas Gerais, Brazil.

Comment

In the Eleutherodactylus guentheri cluster, according to the original publication. In the Eleutherodactylus (Eleutherodactylus) binotatus series, Eleutherodactylus binotatus group of Lynch and Duellman, 1997, Univ. Kansas Mus. Nat. Hist. Spec. Publ., 23: 226. Canelas and Bertoluci, 2007, Iheringia, Zool., 97: 21-26, provided a second locality. In the Ischnocnema guentheri species series of Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 27. Taucce, Leite, Santos, Feio, and Garcia, 2012, Pap. Avulsos Zool., São Paulo, 52: 111-119, reported on the range, color pattern variation, and advertisement call.
