Type locality: "Fuss der Sierra Grande von Cordoba, Provinz Cordoba, Argentinien". Neotype from "near La Posta (31º36′46″ S, 64º52′29″ W, approximately 2151 m elevation), Pampa de Achala, Córdoba province, Argentina".
