Paludicola kriegi Müller, 1926, Zool. Anz., 65: 194. Holotype: ZSM 138/1925 (lost) according to Glaw and Franzen, 2006, Spixiana, München, 29: 174; Valetti, Salas, and Martino, 2009, Zootaxa, 2073: 10, designated FML 20460 neotype. Type locality: "Fuss der Sierra Grande von Cordoba, Provinz Cordoba, Argentinien". Neotype from "near La Posta (31º36′46″ S, 64º52′29″ W, approximately 2151 m elevation), Pampa de Achala, Córdoba province, Argentina".

Distribution

Montane landscapes in the central-western part of the Province of Córdoba, Argentina, 1800-2600 m elevation.
