Eleutherodactylus hoehnei Lutz, 1958, Mem. Oswaldo Cruz, Rio de Janeiro, 56: 378. Holotype: IOC 2525, presumably now in the MNRJ. Type locality: "Serra de Paranapiacaba, antiga Serra de Cubatão, entre a capital do Estado de São Paulo e o mar a 24° aproximadamente de latitude, 46° de longitude O. Greenwich e a 800 m. de altitude" (Portuguese text), "Serra de Paranapiacaba, or Serra de Cubatão, a part of the Serra do Mar which lies between the sea and the capital of the state of São Paulo, Brazil, at close to 24° lat. south, 46° long. W. Gr. and 800-900 m., app. 2.600 to 2.900 feet of altitude" (English text), Brazil.

Distribution

Known only from the vicinity of the type locality in the Serra do Mar, Brazil.

Not assigned to species group, but possibly assignable to the Eleutherodactylus binotatus group according to Lynch, 1976, Occas. Pap. Mus. Nat. Hist. Univ. Kansas, 61: 7.
