Herpetol., 25: 107-108, who discussed the problem and corrected the type locality to "Sororocaba . . . on the slopes of the Paranapiacaba or Serra do Mar Range, in the Santos Municipality, State of São Paulo, southern Brazil (ca. 23° 57′ S, 46° 30′ W; 300-500m elev.)".
