Physalaemus bokermanni Cardoso and Haddad, 1985, Rev. Brasil. Biol., 45: 33-37. Holotype: MZUSP 59551, by original designation. Type locality: "Campo Grande, Município de Santo André, São Paulo, Brasil (23° 45′ LS; 46° 22′ WG)".

English Names

Bokermann’s Dwarf Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 83).

Distribution

Known only from the type locality (Campo Grande, Município de Santo André, São Paulo, Brazil).

Comment

In the Physalaemus signifer group according to the original publication and of Nascimento, Caramaschi, and Cruz, 2005, Arq. Mus. Nac., Rio de Janeiro, 63: 308. Giaretta, Martins, and Santos, 2009, Zootaxa, 2266: 51-60, compared the calls of Physalaemus olfersi, Physalaemus moreirae, Physalaemus bokermanni, and Physalaemus jordanensis.
