Physalaemus coloradorum Cannatella and Duellman, 1984, Copeia, 1984: 904. Holotype: KU 178271, by original designation. Type locality: "Santo Domingo de los Colorados, 580 m, Provincia Pichincha, Ecuador (0° 15′ S, 79° 90′ W)".

English Names

Colorado Dwarf Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 83).

Distribution

Pacific lowlands and foothills of the Andes (to 800 m) in western Ecuador, from Río Cupa south to Río Baba.
