Hyperolius vilhenai Laurent, 1964, Publ. Cult. Companhia Diamantes Angola, 67: 155. Holotype: MD 6213, by original designation. Type locality: "galierie forestičre de la rivičre, Luíta, Poste de Cuílo, Lunda", Angola.

English Names

Luita River Reed Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 68).

Vilhena's Reed Frog (Channing, 2001, Amph. Cent. S. Afr.: 184).

Distribution

Known only from the type (Cuílo, Lunda, northern Angola); likely to be found in adjacent Dem. Rep. Congo.
