Hyperolius steindachneri Bocage, 1866, J. Sci. Math. Phys. Nat., Lisboa, 1: 75. Holotype: MBL T. 25-226 according to Perret, 1976, Arq. Mus. Bocage, Ser. 2, 6: 25; destroyed by 1978 fire, according to R. Laurent in Frost, 1985, Amph. Species World: 218. Type locality: "Duque de Bragança", Angola.

Distribution

Northern Angola and southern Dem. Rep. Congo to east-central Zambia.
