Distribution

Known only from the type locality (Kivu Province, eastern Dem. Rep. Congo) near the Burundi border.

Comment

Probably a synonym of Hyperolius kivuensis according to R. Laurent in Frost, 1985, Amph. Species World: 216. Not mentioned by Schiøtz, 1999, Treefrogs Afr..
