Hyperolius fuscigula Bocage, 1866, J. Sci. Math. Phys. Nat., Lisboa, 1: 76. Syntypes: MBL 19-189 (2 specimens) according to Perret, 1976, Arq. Mus. Bocage, Ser. 2, 6: 26; lost in 1978 fire. Type locality: "Duque de Bragança", Angola.

English Names

Distribution

Known only from the type locality (Duque de Bragança, Angola).

Comment

A nomen dubium according to Perret, 1976, Arq. Mus. Bocage, Ser. 2, 6: 26. Tentatively considered a synonym of Hyperolius cinnamomeoventris by Laurent, 1943, Ann. Mus. R. Congo Belge, Tervuren, Zool., 4: 67; Laurent, 1951, Ann. Soc. R. Zool. Belg., 82: 23-50. Not mentioned by Schiøtz, 1999, Treefrogs Afr..
