Hyperolius cystocandicans Richards and Schiøtz, 1977, Copeia, 1977: 285. Holotype: UMMZ 135194, by original designation. Type locality: "Tigoni, 2200 m above sea level", Kenya.

English Names

Tigoni Reed Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 67).

Bladder Reed Frog (Channing and Howell, 2006, Amph. E. Afr.: 158).

Distribution

Open farmland and grasslands in montane Kenya, east of the Rift Valley from Limuru to Thompson's Falls and east to the Myambeni Mountains.

Comment

Possibly elated to Hyperolius montanus, Hyperolius alticola, Hyperolius frontalis, Hyperolius castaneus, and Hyperolius discodactylus, according to the original publication.
