Monogr., 11: 87. Andreone, Vences, and Randrianirina, 2000, Herpetol. Rev., 31: 250, discussed the range. Glaw and Vences, 2007, Field Guide Amph. Rept. Madagascar, Ed. 3: 102, provided an account.
