Afrixalus congicus paradorsalis Perret, 1960, Rev. Zool. Bot. Afr., 61: 370. Holotype: MHNG 991.50 according to Schätti and Perret, 1997, Rev. Suisse Zool., 104: 358. Type locality: "Foulassi, Cameroun".

Afrixalus paradorsalis manengubensis — Amiet, 2009, Rev. Suisse Zool., 116: 63. Holotype: MHNG 2709.53, by original designation. Type locality: "Mwakoumal (= Mouakoumal), environ 1200 m, versant sud du Mont Manengouba, Cameroun".

English Names

Foulassi Banana Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 66).

Distribution

Brushland from southeastern Nigeria east of the Cross River, in southern Cameroon and Gabon as well as in Equatorial Guinea; presumably to be found in adjacent Central African Republic and Rep. Congo.
