Savannas of eastern Zimbabwe, central and northern Mozambique, southern Malawi lowlands

Comment

Afrixalus crotalus was considered an allopatric subspecies of Afrixalus aureus by Pickersgill, 2005, Steenstrupia, 29: 22. This was not accepted by Du Preez and Carruthers, 2009, Compl.
