Hylodes sazimai Haddad and Pombal, 1995, Herpetologica, 51: 280. Holotype: ZUEC 9004 Type locality: "next to the Observatório de Capricórnio, Joaquim Egídio, Município de Campinas (approximately 22° 54′ S, 46° 49′ S; approximately 1100 m elevation), Estado de São Paulo, Brasil".

English Names

None noted.

Distribution

Known from the type locality in the Serra das Cabras, Campinas, State of São Paulo, and 300 km to the northwest in the Parque Nacional do Itatiaia, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Comment

In the Hylodes lateristrigatus group according to the original publication. Nuin and Garcia, 2002, Herpetol. Rev., 33: 221, provided the record for Itatiaia, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
