Hylodes amnicola Pombal, Feio, and Haddad, 2002, Herpetologica, 58: 463. Holotype: MNRJ 24859, by original designation. Type locality: "Parque Estadual do Ibitipoca (21° 42′ 44 S, 43° 53′ 48 W, altitude near 1400 m), Conceição do Ibitipoca, Lima Duarte Municipality, State of Minas Gerais, Brazil".

Known only from the type locality (Parque Estadual do Ibitipoca (21° 42′ 44 S, 43° 53′ 48 W, altitude near 1400 m), Conceição do Ibitipoca, Lima Duarte Municipality, State of Minas Gerais, Brazil).

Comment

In the Hylodes lateristrigatus group according to the original publication. Cruz, Feio, and Caramaschi, 2009, Anf. Ibitipoca: 114-115, provided photographs and a brief account for Parque Estadual do Ibitipoca, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
