Phyllomedusa venusta Duellman and Trueb, 1967, Copeia, 1967: 128. Holotype: KU 96150, by original designation. Type locality: "1 km west-southwest of the junction of the Río Mono and the Río Tuira, Darién Province, Panamá, elevation 130 m".
English Names
Lovely Leaf Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 62).
Distribution
Forests of Darién on both sides of the Panama-Colombia border and 800-1200 m elevation in the central Magdalena valley of Colombia and into western Venezuela in the state of Zulia.
