Phyllomedusa vaillantii Boulenger, 1882, Cat. Batr. Sal. Coll. Brit. Mus., Ed. 2: 427. Holotype: BMNH 1947. 2. 22. 34 (formerly 74.6.5.1) according to Condit, 1964, J. Ohio Herpetol. Soc., 4: 98. Type locality: "Santarem, [Pará,] Brazil".

Phyllomedusa perlata Boulenger, 1884 "1883", Proc. Zool. Soc. London, 1883: 638. Holotype: BMNH 1947.2.25.82 (formerly 84.2.18.54) according to Condit, 1964, J. Ohio Herpetol. Soc., 4: 97. Type locality: "Yurimaguas, Huallaga River, [Loreto,] Northern Peru". Synonymy by Duellman, 1974, Herpetologica, 30: 109.

Phyllomedusa feltoni Shreve, 1935, Occas. Pap. Boston Soc. Nat. Hist., 8: 214. Holotype: MCZ 19941, by original designation. Type locality: "Sarayacu, [Pastaza Province,] Ecuador". Synonymy by Duellman, 1974, Herpetologica, 30: 109.

Phyllomedusa (Pithecopus) perlata — Lutz and Kloss, 1952, Mem. Oswaldo Cruz, Rio de Janeiro, 50: 663.

Phyllomedusa blombergi Funkhouser, 1957, Occas. Pap. Nat. Hist. Mus. Stanford Univ., 5: 41. Holotype: CAS-SU 13241, by original designation. Type locality: "Santa Rosa de Sucumbio, Río Rimi-Yacu, Departamento Putumayo, upper Amazon, Colombia". Synonymy by Duellman, 1974, Herpetologica, 30: 109.

Pithecopus vaillanti — Lutz, 1966, Copeia, 1966: 236.

English Names

White-lined Leaf Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 62).

Distribution

Guianas and Amazon Basin from Guyana, Surinam, French Guiana, and northeastern Brazil to Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and northern Bolivia; reported from Cerro Neblina, Amazonas, Venezuela.
