Phyllomedusa trinitatis Mertens, 1926, Senckenb. Biol., 8: 145. Holotype: SMF 2633 (formerly 1428. 2a), according to Duellman, 1977, Das Tierreich, 95: 165. Type locality: "Port of Spain", Trinidad.
