Distribution
Known from the type locality in Espírito Santo as well as Paraty Municipality in the state of Rio de Janeiro and Paraibuna Municipality in the state of São Paulo, Brazil.

Carvalho-e-Silva, Carvalho-e-Silva, and Silva-Soares, 2007, Herpetol. Rev., 38: 476, provided the first records for the states of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
