Phasmahyla cruzi Carvalho-e-Silva, Silva, and Carvalho-e-Silva, 2009, Zootaxa, 2120: 17. Holotype: ZUFRJ 10858, by original designation. Type locality: "Rio das Pedras Reserve, Municipality of Mangaratiba (09°19′08″S, 36°28′16″W), approximately 200 m above sea level, on the bank of the Rio Grande River, state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil".
