Phyllomedusa danieli Ruiz-Carranza, Hernández-Camacho, and Rueda-Almonacid, 1988, Trianea, 2: 374. Holotype: ICN 16005, by original designation. Type locality: "Km. 18 carretera entre la cabecera del corregimiento de Nutibara y Murrí (=La Blanquita), Municipio de Frontina, vertiente occidental de la Cordillera Occidental, Departamento de Antioquia, Colombia".

Distribution

Northern part of the western flank of the Cordillera Occidental in the Department of Antioquia, Colombia, 1640 m elevation.

Comment

Of uncertain position; possibly in the Phyllomedusa guttata (= Phasmahyla guttata) group according to the original publication. In the Hylomantis buckelyi group of Faivovich, Haddad, Garcia, Frost, Campbell, and Wheeler, 2005, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 294: 115. Unassigned to species group by Faivovich, Haddad, Baęta, Jungfer, Álvares, Brandăo, Sheil, Barrientos, Barrio-Amorós, Cruz, and Wheeler, 2010, Cladistics, 26: 259.
