Phyllomedusa buckleyi Boulenger, 1882, Cat. Batr. Sal. Coll. Brit. Mus., Ed. 2: 425. Holotype: BMNH 1947.2.22.35 (formerly 80.12.5.230) according to Condit, 1964, J. Ohio Herpetol. Soc., 4: 97. Type locality: "Sarayacu, [Provincia Pastaza,] Ecuador".

Phyllomedusa loris Boulenger, 1912, Ann. Mag. Nat. Hist., Ser. 8, 10: 186. Holotype: BMNH 1947. 2. 22. 35 (formerly 1912. 11. 1. 71) according to Condit, 1964, J. Ohio Herpetol. Soc., 4: 97. Type locality: "El Topo, R. Pastaza, [Provincia Tungurahua,] E. Ecuador, 4200 feet". Synonymy by Duellman, 1969, Herpetologica, 25: 135.

Hyla (Hylella) porifera Andersson, 1945, Ark. Zool., 37A(2): 81. Holotype: NHRM 1963, according to Duellman, 1977, Das Tierreich, 95: 160. Type locality: "Rio Pastaza", eastern, Ecuador. Synonymy by Duellman, 1969, Herpetologica, 25: 135.

Upper Amazon Basin and lower Amazonian slopes of the Andes in Colombia (Caquetá and Santander) and Ecuador.
