Litoria verae Günther, 2004, Zool. Abh. Staatl. Mus. Tierkd. Dresden, 54: 164. Holotype: ZMB 62341, by original designation. Type locality: "Wondiwoi Mts., at the very base of the Wandammen Peninsula about 7 km west of the coast of the Umar Bay, 650 m a.s.l., 2° 56′ S, 134° 38′ E, Papua (formerly Irian Jaya), Province of Indonesia".

Known only from the type locality at the base of the Wandammen Peninsula, western Papua (formerly Irian Jaya) (New Guinea), Indonesia.
Comment
In the Litoria nigropunctata group according to the original publication. Menzies, 2006, Frogs New Guinea & Solomon Is.: 118-119, provided a brief account.
