Litoria timida Tyler and Parker, 1972, Trans. R. Soc. S. Aust., 96: 157. Holotype: SAMA R11658. Type locality: "Menemsorae, Western District [Province], Papua New Guinea".

English Names

Menemsorae Treefrog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 60).

Distribution

Western Papua New Guinea along the middle reaches of the Fly River to Milne Bay, possibly into adjacent Papua, Indonesia.

Comment

In the Litoria dorsalis group of Tyler and Davies, 1978, Aust. J. Zool., Suppl. Ser., 27 (63): 23. Menzies, 2006, Frogs New Guinea & Solomon Is.: 121, provided a brief account.
