Hyla phyllochroa Günther, 1863, Proc. Zool. Soc. London, 1863: 251. Syntypes: BMNH 1947.2.24.3-5 (formerly 60.6.19.37 [Errumanga], 60.6.19.40 [Sydney], 63.6.16.84 [Sydney], according to Condit, 1964, J. Ohio Herpetol. Soc., 4: 94), ZMB 4929. Type localities: "Sydney" and "Errumanga, New South Wales", Australia.
