Comment

Donnellan, McGuigan, Knowles, Mahony, and Moritz, 1999, Aust. J. Zool., 47: 288-289, removed this taxon from the synonymy of Litoria phyllochroa. Mahony, Knowles, Foster, and Donnellan, 2001, Rec. Aust. Mus., 53: 40; suggested on the basis of molecular data that Litoria nudidigita is the sister taxon of Litoria phyllochroa. See brief account by Tyler and Knight, 2009, Field Guide Frogs Aust.: 58-59.
