Litoria multiplica (Tyler, 1964)
Hyla multiplica Tyler, 1964, Am. Mus. Novit., 2187: 2. Holotype: AMNH 66854, by original designation. Type locality: "Kassam, elevation 4500 feet, Kratke Mountains, Eastern Highlands [Province], Australian Trusteeship Territory of New Guinea [now Papua New Guinea]".

Distribution
Lower montane forests along the southern side of the central cordillera in Papua New Guinea between 141° and 146° E, 1000-1500 m elevation.
Comment
For discussion see Tyler, 1968, Zool. Verh., Leiden, 96: 139. In the Litoria aruensis group (= Litoria gracilenta group) according to Tyler and Davies, 1978, Aust. J. Zool., Suppl. Ser., 27 (63): 10. Menzies and Tyler, 2004, Aust. J. Zool., 52: 203, partitioned the Litoria gracilenta group and placed this species in the Litoria chloris group. Menzies, 2006, Frogs New Guinea & Solomon Is.: 146, provided a brief account and included this in his Litoria iris group. Richards, Oliver, Krey, and Tjaturadi, 2009, Zootaxa, 2277: 8-10, provided additional data on morphology and natural history.
