Hyla louisiadensis Tyler, 1968, Zool. Verh., Leiden, 96: 124. Holotype: AMNH 60133, by original designation. Type locality: "Mount Rossell, Rossell Island, Louisiade Archipelago, [Milne Bay Province, Papua] New Guinea".

Distribution
Known only from the type localities (Rossell [= Yela] and Sudest [= Tagula] Islands, Louisiade Archipelago, Papua New Guinea).
