Litoria longicrus (Boulenger, 1911)
Hylella longicrus Boulenger, 1911, Ann. Mag. Nat. Hist., Ser. 8, 8: 55. Syntypes: BMNH 1947.2.22.60—61 (formerly 1909.4.30.17 and 1909.10.30.24) according to Condit, 1964, J. Ohio Herpetol. Soc., 4: 91. Type locality: "one from Fakfak and the other from Wendessi", Vogelkop Peninsula, Papua (New Guinea), Indonesia.

Distribution
Known only from two localities on the Bird's Head, Eastern mountains and Vogelkop Peninsula, as well as upper Sepik River region, New Guinea.
Comment
See Tyler, 1968, Zool. Verh., Leiden, 96: 122. In the Litoria bicolor group of Tyler and Davies, 1978, Aust. J. Zool., Suppl. Ser., 27 (63): 14. Menzies, 2006, Frogs New Guinea & Solomon Is.: 136, provided a brief account and considered this species to be in his Litoria pratti group.
