Litoria latopalmata Günther, 1867, Ann. Mag. Nat. Hist., Ser. 3, 20: 55. Syntypes: BMNH 1947.2.24.27-28 (formerly 64.10.27.47-48) according to Condit, 1964, J. Ohio Herpetol. Soc., 4: 91. Type locality: "Port Denison" (= Port Bowen), Queensland, Australia.
