Nyctimystes kuduki Richards, 2007, Phyllomedusa, 6: 107. Holotype: SAMA R62753, by original designation. Type locality: "Iagifu Ridge, Moro, Southern Highlands Province, Papua New Guinea, 06° 23.784′ S, 143° 13.339′ E, elevation 930 m a.s.l.".

Distribution

Currently known only from Iagifu Ridge, Moro, Southern Highlands Province, Papua New Guinea, 900-930 m elevation.

Comment

In the original publication the author retained Nyctimystes for this taxon due to lacking good delimitation on the polyphyly of Nyctimystes. Nevertheless, recognition of Nyctimystes in any form renders Litoria paraphyletic, so for purposes of this catalog, and pending resolution of the entire problem by S. Donnellan, I (DRF) retain this species in Litoria. Most similar to Litoria montana (as Nyctimystes montanus) according to the original publication.
