Hyla iris Tyler, 1962, Rec. S. Aust. Mus., 14: 253. Holotype: BMNH 1961.1206, by original designation. Type locality: "Bamna, near Nondugl (Lat. 5° 49′ S; Long. 144° 44′ E) at 6,500 feet", Western Highlands Province, Papua New Guinea.

English Names

Western Highland Treefrog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 59).

Distribution

Central Dividing Range of Papua (Indonesia) and Papua New Guinea as well as north of that range in the Hunstein Mountains of East Sepik Province, Papua New Guinea.
