Litoria humeralis (Boulenger, 1912)
Hyla humeralis Boulenger, 1912, Zool. Jahrb., Jena, Abt. Syst., 15: 216. Syntypes: 2 specimens, by original designation, including BMNH 1947.2.23.48 (formerly 1908.10.14.16) according to Condit, 1964, J. Ohio Herpetol. Soc., 4: 91, and Duellman, 1977, Das Tierreich, 95: 145, who considered this specimen the holotype, a lectotype designation by implication. Type locality: "Madew [= Madiu], St. Joseph [Angabunga] River, British [= Papua] New Guinea, between 2000 and 3000 feet", Central Province, Papua New Guinea.

Distribution
Widely distributed on the northern and southern flanks of the central mountain ranges of New Guinea, from approximately 138° E to 147° E, New Guinea, 600-1700 m elevation.
