Litoria daviesae Mahony, Knowles, Foster, and Donnellan, 2001, Rec. Aust. Mus., 53: 42. Holotype: AMS R153052, by original designation. Type locality: "Cobcroft's Trail, Werrikimbe National Park, New South Wales, 31° 13′ 30″ S 152° 10′ 12″ E", Austraila.

Distribution
In a narrow band on the eastern edge of the tablelands and the great escarpment of the Great Dividing Range, within central-eastern to lower northeastern New South Wales, Australia, from north of the Hunter River to the catchment of the Hastings River, above 400 m elevation.

In the Litoria citropa group according to the original publication, formerly confused with Litoria subglandulosa.
