Cyclorana cryptotis Tyler and Martin, 1977, Rec. S. Aust. Mus., 17: 271. Holotype: SAMA R14716, by original designation. Type locality: "Daly Waters, Northern Territory", Australia.

Isolated populations in Western Australia and Northern Territory, between latitudes 17° 20′ and 14° 30′ S.
