Nyctimystes cryptochrysos Kraus, 2012, Herpetologica, 68: 542. Holotype: BPBM 16271, by original designation. Type locality: "along stream on S slope Oya Tabu, 9.4576° S, 150.7888° E, 1000 m, Fergusson Island, Milne Bay Province, Papua New Guinea".

Litoria cryptochrysos — Frost, 2013, Amph. Spec. World Online, vers. 5.6: . Provisional placement pending resolution of the paraphyly of Litoria caused by recognition of Nyctimystes.

English Names

None noted.

Distribution

Known only from the type locality (Fergusson Island, Papua New Guinea), but possibly to be found more widely in the d'Entrecasteaux Islands.

Comment

Similar to Litoria persimilis (as Nyctimystes) according to the original publication.
