Hylella chloronota Boulenger, 1911, Ann. Mag. Nat. Hist., Ser. 8, 8: 55. Syntypes: BMNH 1947.2.31.20-21 (formerly 1911.3.29.3-4) according to Condit, 1964, J. Ohio Herpetol. Soc., 4: 89. Type locality: "Arfak Mountains at an altitude of 8000 feet", Vogelkop Peninsula, Papua (New Guinea), Indonesia.

English Names

Arfak Mountain Treefrog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 59).

Distribution

Known only from the Arfak Mountains, Papua (New Guinea), Indonesia.

Menzies, 2006, Frogs New Guinea & Solomon Is.: 141, provided a brief account and included this in his Litoria iris group.
