Hyla chloris Boulenger, 1892, Proc. Linn. Soc. New South Wales, Ser. 2, 7: 403. Holotype: BMNH 1947.2.23.86 (formerly 92.9.16.10) according to Condit, 1964, J. Ohio Herpetol. Soc., 4: 89. Type locality: "Dunoon, Richmond River", New South Wales, Australia.

Distribution

Southern coastal Queensland (south from Proserpine) and New South Wales in eastern Australia.

Comment

In the Litoria chloris group of Barker, Grigg, and Tyler, 1995, Field Guide Aust. Frogs., Ed. 2: 108. In the Litoria aruensis group (= Litoria gracilenta group) according to Tyler and Davies, 1978, Aust. J. Zool., Suppl. Ser., 27 (63): 10. Menzies and Tyler, 2004, Aust. J. Zool., 52: 203, partitioned the Litoria gracilenta group and placed this species in the Litoria chloris group. See Davies and McDonald, 1979, Aust. J.
