Trachycephalus dibernardoi Kwet and Solé, 2008, Zootaxa, 1947: 54. Holotype: MCP 2422, by original designation. Type locality: "'Centro de Pesquisas e Conservação da Natureza' (CPCN) Pró Mata (about 950 m a.s.l.), 29° 30´S, 50° 10´W, municipality of São Francisco de Paula, state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil".

None noted.

Distribution

Araucaria Plateau in extreme north-eastern and northern Rio Grande do Sul (municipalities of São Francisco de Paula, 950 m elevation, and Machadinho, 760 m a.s.l.) and western Santa Catarina (municipality Seara, 550 m elevation); also known from El Soberbio (department Guaraní, 190 m elevation) in the Argentinean province Misiones, Argentina. Expected to have much wider range, presumably extending into the adjacent regions of northern and northeastern Rio Grando do Sul, Santa Catarina, and Paraná, Brazil, as well as Misiones Province, Argentina, and likely Paraguay.

Comment

Confused with Trachycephalus imitatrix prior to its naming.
