Batrachophrynus patagonicus Gallardo, 1962, Neotropica, 8: 54. Holotype: MACN 2766, by original designation. Type locality: "Laguna Blanca, Zapala, Neuquén, Argentina".

Distribution

Scattered lagoons in the volcanic tablelands of Neuquén Province, northwestern Argentina, 1265-1410 m elevation.
