Sphaenorhynchus prasinus Bokermann, 1973, Rev. Brasil. Biol., 33: 589. Holotype: WCAB 46499, by original designation; now in MZUSP. Type locality: "Centro de Pesquisas do Cacau, Ilheu [sic], Bahia, Brasil".

English Names

Bokermann's Lime Treefrog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 65).

Distribution

Bahia, Minas Gerais, and Pernambuco, Brazil.

Comment

Similar to Sphaenorhynchus planicola according to the original publication. Santos and Moura, 2009, Herpetol. Rev., 40: 362-363, provided a range extension to Pernambuco and commented on the range.
