Sphaenorhynchus pauloalvini Bokermann, 1973, Rev. Brasil. Biol., 33: 592. Holotype: WCAB 46453, by original designation; now in MZUSP. Type locality: "Centro de Pesquisas do Cacau, Ilhéus, Bahia, Brasil".
English Names
Paulo's Lime Treefrog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 65).
Distribution
Known from the type locality (Itabuna District) and Una District in the state of Bahia, Brazil.
Comment
Similar to Sphaenorhynchus prasinus according to the original publication. Freitas, Silva, and Loebmann, 2009, Check List, 5: 200-201, provided the second locality for this species.
