Sphaenorhynchus mirim Caramaschi, Almeida, and Gasparini, 2009, Zootaxa, 2115: 38. Holotype: MNRJ 50641, by original designation. Type locality: "Lagoa Nova (17°57′89″S, 40°25′80″W), Fazenda Gemada, Municipality of Mucurici, State of Espírito Santo, Brazil".
