Hyla rizibilis Bokermann, 1964, Rev. Brasil. Biol., 24: 430. Holotype: WCAB 13947, by original designation; now in MZUSP. Type locality: "Campo Grande, Santo André, Estado de São Paulo, Brasil".

Distribution

Known only from the type locality in the state of São Paulo, Brazil.

Comment

In the Scinax rizibilis group according to Andrade and Cardoso, 1987, Rev. Brasil. Zool., 3: 433-440. Subsequently the Scinax rizibilis group was combined into the Scinax catharinae group by Pombal, Bastos, and Haddad, 1995, Naturalia, São Paulo, 20: 213-225. In the Scinax catharinae clade, Scinax catharinae group of Faivovich, Haddad, Garcia, Frost, Campbell, and Wheeler, 2005, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 294: 95-96.
